Located in Dunamanagh, Northern Ireland, SON Shearing Trailers Limited specialises in crafting customised sheep shearing trailers, dipping trailers and scanning trailers. With more than two decades of expertise in the field, our goal is to simplify the sheep shearing, dipping, and scanning processes.

Having been a sheep shearer for numerous years, Steven, the founder of SON Shearing Trailers, initially constructed a shearing trailer to streamline the process. The successful trailer caught the attention of a competitor from New Zealand participating in a world record attempt, who requested a trailer for the competition. Since then, the company has flourished, consistently producing durable, customised trailers to facilitate shearing, scanning, and dipping for clients across the UK, Ireland, Europe, New Zealand & Australia.

We offer our sheep shearing trailers in agricultural or contractor specifications, with various add-ons available such as canopy frames, toolboxes, wooden or aluminium doors, portholes, and wheel options. For our sheep dipping trailers, customers can choose between an 18-foot and a 20-foot option. Additionally, all our scanning trailers are fully galvanised and come in single or twin-axle configurations.
